Cameron tells Argentina to respect Falklands wishes after overwhelming vote

David Cameron has called on Argentina to respect the wishes of the people of the Falkland Islands.

They have voted overwhelmingly to remain a British overseas territory.

The British Prime Minister says Argentina should take "careful note" of the referendum result.

Mr Cameron says Britain will always be there to defend the Falkland Islanders.
