London crash pilot 'one of the best' with 12,000 flying hours

The pilot who died in today’s dramatic central London helicopter crash worked on Hollywood films and was described as a hero and “one of the best” by former colleagues today.
Pete Barnes, 50, had more than 10,000 hours flying experience and piloted helicopters in films including 007 movie 'Die Another Da'y, Oscar-winning 'Saving Private Ryan' and 'Tomb Raider II'.
