Pakistan’s Supreme Court has ordered the arrest of the prime minister as part of a corruption case involving private power stations.

Judges issued a warrant for Raja Ashraf and others accused in the case. Ashraf was the minister of water and power before he became the country’s premier.

The prime minister’s adviser, Fawad Chaudhry, condemned the court’s order, calling it unconstitutional.
