Police: Chiefs linebacker Belcher in murder-suicide

Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher today committed suicide outside the club’s Arrowhead Stadium home minutes after shooting and killing his girlfriend, authorities have confirmed.

Belcher shot his girlfriend, identified by police as 22-year-old Kasandra Perkins, at their Kansas City home before driving to the Chiefs’ training facility and turning a gun on himself.
