One dead in US college shooting
At least one person has been killed and another wounded in an attack at a community college in the US state of Wyoming.
Police arrested one person who was injured, said Casper College spokesman Rich Fujita.
The campus was locked down and students advised to stay where they were until police gave the all clear.
No further information was available.
Mr Fujita was unable to say how the attack happened, any weapon used and who was killed.
Casper College is a two-year community college in Wyoming’s second-largest city. Casper, population 56,000, is about 250 miles north-west of Denver.
Wyoming residents refer to Casper as the “Oil City” because it is a hub for the state’s small oil industry.
