Sierra Leone leader retains role

Sierra Leone’s incumbent president, Ernest Bai Koroma, has won a second term with 58.7% of the vote.

Opposition leader Julius Maada Bio came in second with 37.4%, according to results published today by the country’s National Electoral Commission.
