EU's trillion dollar, six-year budget under discussion today

The EU's trillion dollar budget for 2014 to 2020 will be the main topic of discussion at the meeting of the European Council in Brussels this morning.

The talks come as pressure mounts for massive cuts to the budget as a result of the continuing economic crisis.
