Czechs in austerity protest

Thousands of Czechs have rallied in protest against the government’s policies and austerity cuts and other policies on the 23rd anniversary of the Velvet Revolution.

Police estimate some 10,000 protesters gathered in Prague’s central Wenceslas Square to demand the government’s resignation.
