Twenty-two killed in Indian storm
Heavy rains triggered by a tropical storm have killed at least 22 people in the past four days in southern India, according to a government official.
T. Radha, a state relief commissioner, said the deaths were caused by drowning and house collapses in villages in East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh state where the storm dumped 12 inches of rain over the weekend, the worst in the past 40 years.
