Two questioned in connection with killings of policewomen

Two men are being questioned tonight over the killings of two policewomen in Greater Manchester yesterday.

A second man is being held on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.

Meanwhile, Britain's Queen is among tens of thousands of people who have sent messages of condolence to the force.

Earlier the victims' colleagues stopped for a minute's silence in their honour, and there was a special church service held in Hattersley.
