Father denies stamping on his baby daughter

A father accused of murdering his eight-week-old baby daughter has said she was injured accidentally when they clashed heads with the force of heading a football.

Richard Barnes denied doing anything deliberately to harm baby Grace and said their heads collided as he went to put her over his shoulder to prevent her from choking on her own vomit.
