Experts bid to defuse booby-traps in US

Bomb experts hope they will soon be able to enter the booby-trapped apartment of the suspect in yesterday's mass shooting at a screening of the new Batman film at a cinema in Denver, Colorado.

Police in the suburb of Aurora said the first goal is to make the area safe by removing the trip wire, which may include a controlled detonation that causes a loud boom and possibly a fire.
