Report: Israeli tourists killed in bus explosion

A bus carrying Israeli tourists in a Bulgarian tourist resort exploded today, according to witnesses.

Three people were killed in the blast, reports in Israeli media said.

Bulgarian police would only say that the bus caught fire at the airport in the Black Sea city of Burgas.

They declined to comment on reports of casualties.

The witnesses were speaking to Israel’s Channel 2 TV. They said someone boarded the bus and a huge explosion immediately followed.

The bus was full of Israeli youths. Images showed smoke billowing from a pair of buses near the airport.
