Boy, 10, killed in rocket attack

A rocket fired at a Muslim school in the central Nigerian city Jos has killed a 10-year-old boy in what appears to be the latest outburst of religious violence in the West African nation.

The rocket missed the main school building and hit a nearby house instead, killing the boy, said Captain Salisu Mustapha. He said a rocket-propelled grenade was used in the attack, but he had no further information on who might have carried out the attack. No arrests were made.
