Al-Qaida 'entering Syria from Iraq'

Iraq has “solid information and intelligence” about al-Qaida militants infiltrating Syria from the country to carry out attacks.

Foreign minister Hoshyar Zebari told reporters that authorities are worried about a spillover of violence from Syria to the rest of the Mideast.
