Death toll rises from Iraqi bomb attacks

At least 33 people have been killed in a series of blasts in Iraq, officials said today.

In the Shiite city of Diwaniyah, 80 miles (130km) south of Baghdad, at least 25 people died and scores were wounded when a vegetable truck exploded in a market.
