Explosion in Kenyan nightclub kills one person

Kenyan police have said that at least one person has been killed and several others injured in an explosion in a nightclub in Mombasa.

It is believed that the blast was caused by a hand grenade.

The blast comes the day after the US embassy in the country warned an attack in the port city was imminent.

Two Iranian nationals were detained by Kenyan police during the week over suspected links to a terror network.
