Three die in UK crash after car hits tree
Three people died after a car crashed into a tree in Britain this morning.
West Mercia Police said two women and a man were killed when the vehicle struck a tree at Avon Bank near Pershore, Worcestershire. A fourth person who was in the vehicle, a man, is critically ill in hospital.
A police spokesman said: “Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of the paramedics that attended the scene, a man and a woman were pronounced dead a short time after emergency services arrived.
“A second man and a second woman were rushed to hospital immediately after the RTC but sadly the woman was also pronounced dead a short time later.
“The man admitted to hospital is currently said to be in a critical condition with multiple injuries.
“All four casualties from the vehicle are thought to be in their 20s.”
