Bailout for Spain very possible
A bailout for Spain may well be on the cards.
It is believed they will formally seek financial assistance for its troubled banking system as soon as this weekend.
That is according to the Vice President of the European Central Bank Victor Constancio who spoke to a radio station in his native Portugal this evening.
There had been earlier denials by both Spain and the European Commission that Eurozone Finance Ministers were due to discuss the request during a conference call tomorrow.
