Nine injured in nightclub shooting

Police in the Bahamas said today nine people have been shot during a fight at a nightclub, and three men are in a critical condition.

A woman is among the other six who are in a serious condition, police said.

The cause of the fight is unclear.

Several men have been detained in connection with the shooting early on Tuesday in north-east Nassau on New Providence island.
