'20 soldiers killed' as suicide bomber targets Yemen military parade

At least 20 soldiers were killed when a suicide bomber blew himself up during a rehearsal for a military parade near Yemen’s capital today.

An official said the bomber was a soldier who was participating in the drill in a main square near the presidential palace in Sanaa.

It was a practice for the celebration of Yemen’s National Day tomorrow.

Ambulances rushed to the area but the number of dead and injured was not immediately known.
