Eleven die in Afghan compound assault

A group of suicide attackers stormed a government compound in western Afghanistan today, killing at least seven people, officials said.

The militants were armed with explosive-laden vests, automatic weapons and rocket propelled grenades for the assault on the governor’s complex in Farah province.
