Tymoshenko given tiger cubs boost

A beautiful white tiger that became a symbol of Yulia Tymoshenko’s Ukraine presidential campaign has returned to the spotlight by giving birth to four cubs, including a rare albino one.

Activists hope the birth of the cubs in a zoo this week will lift the spirits of jailed Tymoshenko who had used the tigress, Tigryulia, as a symbol of her resolve.
