Sides trade accusations after Syria blasts

Syria's authorities and opposition are accusing each other of being behind yesterday's blasts in Damascus and Aleppo ahead of polls designed to boost the regime's legitimacy.

Three people are thought to have died in overnight violence in the Syrian capital, ahead of the vote which the international community is describing as 'a sham'.
