Nepal PM seeks coalition accord
Nepal’s prime minister Baburam Bhattarai has decided to dissolve his present Cabinet and form a new coalition government that would include members of the main opposition parties.
Mr Bhattarai’s press adviser Ram Rijan Yadav said he will hold talks with leaders of the main political parties today to finalise the agreement before making the formal announcement.
Mr Bhattarai and the major political parties met late yesterday to negotiate.
Mr Bhattarai had formed the government last year with the support of smaller political parties in Parliament.
