A New York City judge is expected to rule by the end of the week on whether to throw out a hotel maid’s lawsuit claiming that former International Monetary Fund chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn sexually assaulted her.

Court system spokesman David Bookstaver says a decision is expected by Friday in the housekeeper’s Bronx civil case.
