Royal accident for Queen's granddaughter

One of the Queen's granddaughters has broken her left arm after falling off her pony.

Buckingham Palace has said that Lady Louise Windsor has been treated in hospital and is now resting at her parents' home following the accident this morning.

It is thought that it happened in the grounds of Windsor Castle, but the Queen - who is staying at the royal residence - was not with the 8-year-old when she fell.

Lady Louise is Prince Edward's daughter.
