Afghan shoots two dead in Nato base

An Afghan in army uniform shot and killed two international service members inside a Nato base in southern Afghanistan today.

The man, in an Afghan army uniform, was shot dead, Nato spokesman Major Jason Waggoner said.

The incident happened at a base in Lashkar Gah, Helmand province, a Western official in southern Afghanistan confirmed.
