Russia 'will back Annan Syria plan'

Russia’s foreign minister said today that Moscow will support a United Nations resolution endorsing Kofi Annan’s plan for settling the Syrian crisis.

Sergey Lavrov said Russia is ready to back Mr Annan’s plan with a UN Security Council resolution.
