Poland bus crash injures 16

Sixteen people were injured, four of them seriously, when a bus collided with a car in central Poland today.

The accident happened in Kromolin Stary, a village near the city of Lodz.

Fire service spokesman Arkadiusz Makowski told the news agency PAP that the bus was carrying 19 people, including three adults and 16 teenagers between the ages of 16 and 18.

The all-news station TVN24 said the bus collided with a Toyota Yaris.
