Online campaign against Uganda war criminal soars

A viral campaign to bring accused Ugandan war criminal Joseph Kony to justice, has sparked a growing storm.

More than 40 million people have viewed an online video on Twitter about the fugitive head of the Lord's Resistance Army rebel group, in just three days.

A string of celebrities, including Microsoft boss Bill Gates, have also weighed in by tweeting links to the emotional video.

The White has praised the campaign organised by documentary maker Jason Russel who has been accused by some of oversimplifying the facts.
