President Obama has accused the Syrian government of murdering civilians in what he is calling an "unspeakable assault" in the city of Homs.

President Obama has accused the Syrian government of murdering civilians in what he is calling an "unspeakable assault" in the city of Homs.

He has demanded that President Bashar al-Assad step down as the reported deaths of 200 people in one of the bloodiest attacks of the uprising fuelled calls for United Nations action.
