Police free woman locked by father in room for nine years

Palestinian police say they have freed a young woman whose father kept her locked in the bathroom of their home in the West Bank for about nine years.

Spokesman Adnan Damiri says the 20-year-old woman was in a “deplorable” condition when she was found on Saturday.
