UK healthcare provider to cover costs of fixing faulty breast implants
A private healthcare provider in Britain has announced it will cover the clinical investigation and surgery costs of all its patients who have had PIP breast implants.
UK firm Nuffield Health has said "around 150" people had been given the implants at one of their hospitals.
The French implants contain silicone gel which is not suitable for use in the human body.
Around 40,000 women in Britain and 1,500 women in Ireland are thought to have had the controversial implants.
