Man killed by falling tree in Kent

A van driver died in Britain today after his vehicle was crushed by an oak tree in high winds, police said.

The man, aged in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene following the incident in Sandhurst Road, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, at 12.25pm.
