Mubarak in court as trial resumes

Egypt’s ousted leader Hosni Mubarak has returned to a Cairo courtroom for the resumption of his trial after a three-month break.

Mubarak is charged with complicity in the deaths of nearly 840 protesters in the crackdown against a popular uprising, which ended with his ousting on February 11. He could face the death penalty if convicted.
