More than four years after the deadliest mass shooting in modern US history, the horrors of that day on the Virginia Tech campus are about to be relived in court.

An administrative judge is to begin hearing evidence today on whether the school should pay $55,000 (€40,953) in fines in connection with the 2007 shooting rampage on its campus in which 33 people were killed, including the gunman.
