80 injured in Cairo clashes

About 80 people were injured when clashes erupted between protesters and angry street vendors in Cairo’s Tahrir Square, an Egyptian security official said.

The violence broke out after polls closed last night following the first two days of voting in Egypt’s parliamentary elections.
