Former Yugoslavia's last Prime Minister Ante Markovic, who tried to prevent the country's bloody break-up in the 1990s, has died. He was 87.

Former Yugoslavia's last Prime Minister Ante Markovic, who tried to prevent the country's bloody break-up in the 1990s, has died. He was 87.

Mr Markovic died in Croatia's capital Zagreb.
