Russia threatens new missile plan

Russia will aim new missiles at US defence sites in Europe if Washington goes ahead with a planned shield, president Dmitry Medvedev said today.

Russia will station missiles in its western-most Kaliningrad region and other areas if Russia and Nato fail to reach a deal on the US-led missile defence plans, he said.
