Monti wins second confidence vote

Italian Premier Mario Monti’s new government has won a second confidence vote in Parliament, securing its mandate to help bring Italy out of its debt crisis.

The lower Chamber of Deputies voted 556-61 for Mr Monti’s government of bankers, CEOs and university professors.
