A roadside bomb killed six civilians today, according to a provincial official in Afghanistan’s eastern Langhman province.

Faizanullah Patan, a spokesman for the provincial governor, said the explosion completely destroyed the car in which the six victims, five men and a woman, were travelling. He said it occurred just outside Mehterlam, the capital of Langhman.
