At least 19 dead in Nigeria bombings

At least 19 people have died in a series of bombings and shootings in north-east Nigeria, witnesses said.

The witnesses said the bodies were seen at the site of a car bombing in Damaturu, the capital of Yobe state, as well as in a neighbouring village. Government officials did not respond to requests for comment.
