Reports of up to 30 casualties after major M5 accident

A multi-vehicle smash on a motorway has led to reports of “multiple serious injuries and possible fatalities”, English police said tonight.

Avon and Somerset Police said the collision, reportedly featuring 25 vehicles, involved lorries and cars travelling north on the M5 in Somerset at around 8.30pm.
