Iraqi police killed in drive-by shooting

Three officers were killed when gunmen opened fire on a police patrol in a drive-by shooting in north-eastern Baghdad, Iraqi officials said today.

A spokesman said the assailants used guns fitted with silencers in the attack in the mostly Shiite Shaab neighbourhood.
