US courts see emergence of 'lookism' disputes

It appears that attractive people are more successful than those less blessed and 'lookism' has been the subject of several court actions in the US.

The issue was highlighted by 61-year-old Shirley Ivey who is suing her former employer in Washington after she was told by her boss he would like her more if she was prettier.
