NATO launch airstrikes on Gaddafi's home town

NATO forces have bombed several targets near Muammar Gaddafi's home town of Sirte which is southeast of Tripoli.

The nearby town of Bani Walid was also hit which, rebels say, is a possible hideout for the fugitive leader.
