German air traffic controllers agree to strike

German air traffic controllers have voted overwhelmingly for strikes in a pay dispute, raising the prospect of disruption over the summer holiday period.

The GdF union said a ballot of its members produced a 95.8% vote in favour of a walkout. The vote was conducted over the past four weeks.
