Baby P doctor not fit to practice, says medical council

A GP who failed to spot Baby P’s abuse is not fully fit to resume practising as a doctor, the General Medical Council ruled today.

The GMC suspended Dr Jerome Ikwueke for 12 months in July last year for a series of failures in his care of the toddler.
