Most not taking time to enjoy food - survey
Most people are so distracted by work, email and TV, that they have little time to sit down and enjoy a meal.
A survey conducted for French cheese specialist President found 75% of respondents admitted they scoffed down their food.
More than one third spent 10 minutes or less on their lunch and nearly half claimed they were so overworked they did not even notice they had eaten until their meal was over.
Psychologist Dr Richard Woolfson warned against rushing our meals, saying taking time to enjoy our food was "much more enjoyable and better for our health and well-being".
